Meet Dr. Gilbert Phon, Au.D.

Dr. Gilbert Phon, Au.D. has 35 years of experience in the field of audiology, specializing in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, hearing aid dispensing and fitting and counseling social aspects of geriatrics.

He has been in private practice as head of the Audiology Center of St. Peters since 1980.  Prior to that, he was Supervisor of Audiology, Department of Otolaryngology, at the Washington University School of Medicine.  In addition, he was Clinical Instructor at the Central Institute for the Deaf during the same time period. From 1975-1977 he was a staff audiologist at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

• 1975 Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, American Speech Language Hearing Association

In addition, Dr. Phon is very proud to have received many awards over his years as a clinical audiologist. From 1996-2008 he has been granted the “ACE” Award by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and in 1996 he was given the “Service to the Organization” award by the Speech-Language Hearing Association of the Greater St. Louis area.

Meet Diane Dooley, Receptionist

Diane Dooley has over 35 years experience in the medical industry, including 25 years working with Dr. Phon.  Diane loves her job as receptionist and will be the person you talk to when you call to make your appointment.  Diane assists in patient education.  In her spare time, Diane enjoys water sports and spending time with her 8 grandchildren.

Meet Julie Ernest, Office Staff

An insurance and billing expert, Julie Ernest has over 15 years of experience in the medical industry, including 5 years with Dr. Phon.  She helps coordinate patient education.  Julie is a mother of 2 and is very active in their school activities, including sports.
